The Community Dental Program provides clinical and preventive services for low income adults and children residing in Franklin County. This includes the Family Dental Service (clinic) and the Dental Sealant Program.
Family Dental Services ( Dental Clinic)
Basic dental services provided include exams, x-rays, cleanings, fillings, extractions (pulling teeth), some root canals, and denture repairs. Fees are determined by a sliding-fee, which is determined by family size and income. Medicaid and private insurance are also accepted.
Emergency clinics are held on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. (Call at 8:00 am on those days to schedule emergency appointments.) By appointment only. No walk-in service. Interpretation services are provided. The Dental Clinic is a program of Columbus Neighborhood Health Centers.
Dental Sealant Program
This school-based program offers free protective dental sealants (plastic coatings) on the back permanent molars of 2nd and 6th grade students in the Columbus Public Schools.
A dentist screens the students who have parent permission and teams of dental hygienists and dental assistants place the sealants with portable dental equipment at the schools.
Since 1986, over 53,000 Columbus school children have received preventive dental sealants on over 180,000 permanent teeth. Publications Resources & Links

The Coalition’s Stout Street Clinic has been delivering healthcare for the homeless in downtown Denver for almost 25 years. Located at the corner of Stout Street and Broadway, this freestanding, 20,000 square foot facility centralizes services for anyone who is homeless – there is never a charge for this care.
In 2008, the Coalition provided medical and mental healthcare services to more than 12,000 men, women and children, ranging in age from infancy to those over 85. Common diagnoses include hypertension, diabetes and asthma. This is in regards to my husband who is currently on dailysis and is awaiting transplant. He has developed cavities and an infection due to his wisdom teeth, and until this is cleared up he can not transplant so if he got a kidney tomorrow he would actually be skipped on the list because of this. I need to know how to get in contact with the people who offer the free dental care for this is a life altering matter.
Today, I have done some research of Free Dental Clinics or Low Cost. I found that Student Clinics will work for those possibly myself for treatment. If I could only get the nerve and lower my Anxiety to go and ask if I would qualify for a check up and assistance. For those that are able to do this for themselves. Google: Free Dental Assistance. This is where I found a lot of information. However, again...I doesn't look like I will do this because of the fear I have and fighting with myself only to be told no truly keeps me at home. (Sad)
TO: CLARIAN HEALTH PARTNERS INC. FR: Northern Mindanao Medical Center Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines I am just an ordinary citizen who comes to Northern Mindanao Medical Center (a government hospital) every now and then just to be able to help the less fortunate in the best way I can, by comforting them, providing them their needs if I have the resources. This hospital is a government tertiary hospital with a 300-bed capacity. However, every day there are more than 300 in patients admitted leaving the patients with no other option than to use and consider the corridors of the hospital to stay just so they can be given immediate medical attention. Considering the lack of funds from the government, I would like to seek help from your foundation in any way you can to help expand, develop or whatever you can do to the hospital. Should you want to inquire and get more information, please contact DR. RAMON MORENO, OIC-Chief Medical Professional Staff of Northern Mindanao Medical Center (+638822) 721282 or cell number (+639178410322). I am optimistic that through writing this letter to your organization, it will pave the doorway for you to be interested in helping develop our government hospital. From a concerned citizen: Grace E.
